Meet Our Pastors
Head Pastor: Kevin Swartzentruber
Kevin has been serving at Providence since 2014 and was ordained in 2007. He and his wife Amanda are blessed with seven children—Kiah and her husband Micah, Ava, Kari, Margo, Judah, Thad, and Zeke—and family is at the heart of everything he does.
When he’s not pastoring, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, tinkering in his woodshop, working on the farm, and diving into a good book. Whether it’s through ministry, family life, or a simple conversation over coffee, Kevin loves seeing God at work in the everyday moments of life.
Associate Pastor: Josh Swartzentruber
Josh has been serving at Providence since 2014. He and his wife Melinda, married in 2017, are blessed with two sons, Oakland and Kamden.
When he’s not pastoring, Josh teaches PE at Barr-Reeve, loves coaching and watching sports, and enjoys spending quality time with his family. Josh and Melinda have a heart for Providence and love the opportunity to serve and grow alongside their church family.
Youth Pastor: Eric Miller
Eric has been leading our high school youth program at Providence since 2012. He was ordained in 2018 and joined the staff full-time in 2019. He and his wife Kelsie are blessed with three kids—Emma, Halle, and Micah—and he loves spending time with his family whenever he can.
Outside of youth ministry, Eric enjoys singing and playing piano, cheering on the Cubs, Notre Dame, and IU, and grilling or smoking meats. He’s passionate about helping students grow in their faith and loves being part of the Providence church family.
